Individual and group counseling services are provided by graduate counseling students in SMU’s Master of Science in 咨询 Program, which prepares individuals for professional practice as counselors. 有经验的博士 和掌握的水平 licensed faculty and staff members direct the Center and supervise the graduate 辅导学生.
费用
The clinic provides low cost counseling services, 费用低至零, to ensure that services are affordable to all regardless of circumstances. There is no charge for the intake 会话. Currently, the Center takes payment in the 现金或支票的形式. The clinic does not bill insurance, Medicaid, or Medicare, but provides a receipts for all payments should you want to file yourself.

The clinic offers both daytime and early evening appointments. To schedule an appointment, call 214-768-6789. 如果不立即处理, a student counselor will return your call to complete a phone assessment/screening. 电话评估结束后, if the clinic can potentially meet your needs, an in-person intake will be scheduled. 在这次约会之后, you will either be paired with a student counselor for services or be referred to another appropriate service provider.
For guardians of minors under 年龄 of 12, the in-person (or tele health) intake will be conducted without your child(ren) attending.

The clinic offers bilingual counseling to clients when there are bilingual 辅导学生 available.

The clinic does not provide routine crisis counseling. 心理健康 emergency ensue, please contact 9-1-1 or go to the nearest hospital for assistance.
